Top 5 Social Apps Performance in Serbia, Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 saw dynamic trends in the performance of the top 5 social apps in Serbia. According to Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited varied patterns in weekly downloads and revenue.

TikTok experienced significant fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.1K in mid-September. Weekly downloads showed a relatively stable trend, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 11.9K in the last week of September.

Instagram had a modest weekly revenue, which tapered off towards the end of the quarter, dropping to about $6. Weekly downloads for Instagram were more stable, with a peak of approximately 12.5K in mid-August before gradually declining to around 7.9K by the end of September.

Facebook Lite showed a steady decline in weekly downloads, from around 8.1K at the beginning of August to approximately 6.5K by the end of September. Its weekly revenue remained relatively low, with minor fluctuations, peaking at about $338 in early July.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative saw a peak in weekly revenue at $734 in early August, followed by a gradual decline to around $368 by the end of September. Weekly downloads for OmeTV increased from approximately 2.4K in late June to a peak of 3.5K in early August, then decreased to about 2.1K by the end of the quarter.

X maintained a consistent weekly downloads trend, peaking at around 2.9K in mid-August and ending the quarter with approximately 2.3K. Notably, the app did not generate any revenue throughout the quarter.
